Thank you Lorena for suggesting that I visit Foundation Louis Vuitton. It was a great day. I took the navette from Etoile, which puts one in the middle of tourist Paris, which is briefly amusing.
And as you drive around in the shuttle full of elders you can imagine being in the Tour de France peloton.
Then you pass through the classy neighborhood and into the Bois de Boulogne, which is beautiful especially now.
The building is stunning.
And they had a wonderful exhibition from the collection of Samuel Courtauld, who collected Impressionists at the beginning of the 20th century, my favorite period of art.
And there is a fine cafe.
Quinoa salad with citrus seems to be the current favorite and for good reason.
And the views from the roof top terraces are great.
Lovely day altogether.
