These menhirs are from about 3000 BC. There are apparently lots of them in this region. They’re just about life sized. No idea how or why they were made.

That’s cheese churros with tartar sauce. Sort of like fries with mayo?
Their cathedral is one of the oldest and biggest. With a really tall tower. Reminds me of the Italian tower competition, mine is bigger than yours.
Sort of a cloudy day, which doesn’t show off the light in Gothic architecture. Still quite impressive.
And it was a pleasure to drive through the vineyards to get there.
